by Ruskicowboy First Edition (that I have), the Panorama cards were card stock with square corners. They are definitely inferior in quality to the rest of the cards in the game.

by ackmondual The early versions I've played (around 4 years back), both regular and some deluxe ks version had them in cardboard. Granted, those were rather thin.
