Time for a speed round... Conclave members, hold on tight to your hats!

I was half an hour early and a couple were looking over Terraforming Mars so I approached them and let them know I could assist in a bit, unluckily their time was up as I started but they asked when I was normally in and I let them know so they will be back for a Wizrad special teach!

Two trials of an unusual nature... found the label-maker at work and as New York Zoo is a bit of a pain to set up, thought if I bag the tiles seperately it might make it a bit easier... win! Might have to do this with some other games too... I wonder if people will be kind enough to bag this up correctly?

Had a heads up that it was the anniversary of a couple coming in so got the broken boxed Scrabble set out for table decoration... awww!

Tokaido for three, what a chilled way to spend a Friday afternoon!

A couple wanted something fun and fast, how about spending a whole hour playing through Ghost Blitz multiple times? Lovin' it!

Two ladies wanted to go on a quest (their words, not mine!), time to Escape the Dark Castle!

Survival horror for 4? Clearly Sub Terra, multiple plays, no wins... they told me they'd be buying it though!

Had a KLASKascade (or KLASKade? Hmm...), it's what you get when you get out KLASK 4 and everyone around them wants to play it too, at one point a couple who were just finishing playing taught the table next to them, that's community!

Libriumascade doesn't have the same ring does it, but still... you get the idea!

After a group played a hefty game of Betrayal at Baldur's Gate what better way to relax than some Anomia?

Another little side project I am on is listing what rulebooks I need... had to teach Wallamoppi as the rules have gone walkies...

Bugacula bares their fangs for a group of three wanted some light hearted fare! Mind you don't get a Hexbug in your eye!

New York Zoo taught after a request for Cottage Garden, told them of the other Uwe Rosenbergpolyomino games worth playing and a few others *COUGH*The Isle of Cats*COUGH* worth looking at...(only labelled this after they played as I set it up and... it is a bit of a pain!)

Had a chat with a group playing Herd Mentality so had to 'flip it and reverse it', ie, instead of matching words, not matching words and from competitive to cooperative... yep, Just One. As I described it one lady said 'Sounds Hipster, I'm in!',

Wonderful group of gamers who I had a great conversation with and kept coming back to, Librium for a starter, had their food then as an apertif some Blokus followed by a helping of Calico. I always warn them this is a game that shows you that you can't have everything and forces you to have to settle... but there are always cats and colourful shiny things (buttons), take joy in this! Talked games after with them too, much love and much fun! (careful Will, that's a bit long for a Saturday morning, keep the pace up!)

Want a word game and love some Scrabble? Get on the Super Scrabble for an epic match, quadruple the fun! Went over to them in the last third of their game to check for swear words and also helped them each open the board up a bit, gosh, it's been a while since I played!

Final game (...and breathe...) Wingspan FTW! Noticed a group of three learning this, went over and topped up their knowledge and pointed out strategy and made sure they had the rules down, it was late so they only got to the end of the 2nd round but they got the idea and will be back to try again! I've just ordered the Wingspan: Swift-Start Promo Pack to add to our copy as it's so useful if I'm not about to teach it... Great people, lovely to talk to them, hopefully see them again at some point!

Bigged up 'Social Mondays' to those who seemed like they might like to play games with others as much as I could... going analogue using word of mouth seems like a good personal touch to something that I hope will take off soon... then I can start with the event organising!

Still got your hats on, Conclave members? Good... people should wear more hats... (film reference-tastic!)

In a bizzle!
