People think it’s like Tokaido because of the following mechanism. But it’s really nothing like Tokaido at all. Even the following mechanism works quite differently.
Tokaido is really all about gaining points in different ways. Each action you do is directly related to gaining points.
PARKS is about gaining resources to buy gear and visit parks. The end goal is points. But most actions are building your supply of resources or trying to get a mini engine going instead of directly gaining points.
They are very much both worthy of being in a collection.

Sold! If it's different but the same~ then I'm definitely interested, such a beautiful game as well, I was just worried it was a re-skin basically.

I personally thought since there are two tracks and you have to decide when yo move each of your hikers that I felt this was next level Tokaido. If you enjoyed Tokaido and want a different challenge, then would say so. There is a lot of things to keep track of such as your canteen, and other things as well that are different.
I haven't played the Tokaido expansions and know they add some more depth though, so keep that in mind.

I'm not sure I wored my title correctly but I'm actually asking about Takaido, as I've played PARKS 🙂. Do you think PARKS is more weightier then?
