Nope, the rules are very clear, even for a non native English speaker like me ;). In general, when you find a rule as confusing, you can verify it in a visual example (like the one showed). If even then remain confused, you can check one of the many tutorial videos out there (like the "watch it played" one). If even then you are confused you can ask here, but not for that the rule is confusing (5-6 people from thousands it's a small thing).
