we played it slightly wrong from readin this but it seemed to work.we didn't do food until everyone was at the inn - first person there got to look at 5 cards (4 players) and could choose what they wanted and then put the cards down. this helped us keep track of what we were all doing and made it like a dinner time theme ina busy inn!
when it was the orphans turn she flipped over the top card and could get it for free or could choose to pay for one of the other options.
am I missing something why we shouldn't keep playing this way?
