Should play pretty quickly, the rules are fairly straightforward and mostly come down to:1. Figure out which player is furthest back; it is now their turn.
2. Your turn involves moving your figure forward on the road to any available space up to and including the next inn, then getting the effects of the space (which is usually either getting coins or getting points)
Then most of the work is in learning what the individual spaces do and what the player powers are. The only thing I'd point out is that if you've got 3 players then you don't get to use the second spot for spaces that have them (they're marked with two semicircles rather than a full circle).
