I'm confused by rule book loose usage of terms "reserve" and "bank".

Setup section says: "Place the coins next to the board as a reserve." and "Each player receives coins equal to the number in the upper right corner of his chosen tile; this constitutes his bank at the start of the journey."

Farm section says: "The player takes 3 coins from the reserve and adds them to his bank."

Kuge section says: "The player immediately takes 3 coins from the reserve that he adds to his bank."

Miko section says: "The player immediately takes 1 coin from the bank and places it as an offering in the Temple in the area corresponding to his color."

Whose player's bank is this? What if the player does not have 1 coin in their bank?

Hirotada the priest section says: "Each time he stops at the Temple, Hirotada can take one coin from the bank and donate it to the Temple, scoring 1 point for this coin. This is in addition to the 1, 2, or 3 coins he can personally donate to the Temple"

Is this the player's bank or the reserve the coin comes from?

Special rules for two-player games section says "When the Neutral traveler stops on a Temple space, take a coin from the bank and place it on the space corresponding to his color."

Whose player's bank is this? Or is this the reserve?
